Prosthetic Socks.
This is a look into the functions and roles of prosthetic socks ranging from fabrication purposes to volume management strategies.  The intended audience includes the patient/client, and any practitioner who might discuss volume management with the user of a prosthesis.

This is an overview and classification presentation.  Major prosthetic knee classes are described with select examples included.

Socket Theory:  Transtibial 1- Patella Tendon Bearing Socket Theory.
The first of 2 modules that will describe the history, purpose and functions of transtibial socket theory.  This module describes the patella tendon bearing (or specific weight bearing) socket theory.

A Primer on Ace Wrapping and Other Compressive and Protective Dressings for the Amputated Residual Limb.
This module reviews major types of compressive and protective dressing techniques used with the client with amputation of an extremity.  Advantages, disadvantages and some application is described.

Gait: Transtibial Amputee ( Very Large File - Wait to Download ).
This module is a detailed presentation of prosthetic and patient-related causes of gait deviations commonly seen with the transtibial amputee.

Epidemiology and Statistics: Associated with Limb Loss and Limb Deficiency.
This presentation provides answers to how many persons live with limb loss/deficiency per a given level of amputation per country and for what reasons.
